Return-To-Play Updates

Hi All,

It has been great seeing our young soccer players enjoying the Beautiful Game and the wonderful weather over the last two weekends. Thank you for following the Return-to-Play guidelines, working with our partners at Milton Health Care Fields in being patient and only parking in the appropriate lots, and supporting our young referees.

For your information, please see the referenced COVID-19 reporting procedures laid out by Mass Youth Soccer Association (www.mayouthsoccer.org/return-to-soccer-activities). In the case of a possible or confirmed case of COVID-19, the parent of the player should contact the Milton Soccer President ([email protected]) or COVID-19 Safety Officer ([email protected]) who will in turn contact the Milton Department of Public Health. Milton DPH will take it from there with contact tracing, etc. Please see the attached (and at the right side of the MYSA return-to-soccer activities website listed above) for further details.

Also, for Travel players-please see the BAYS COVID resources and modifications website for information specific to this season. Key points: All should be socially distanced (6’), wearing masks (players, coaches, and spectators), and 1 adult per player attending games.  The only exception is the rare case when a player is 6 or more feet away from any other player may take a “mask break” to catch their breath, drink, or eat.

Let me know if you have any questions. Every game is a gift.

Cheers,

Bob Chen
